I ordered my MINI today from MINI Center in San Antonio. Here are the specs:

My wife and I will be driving from San Antonio to Central VA. We would like to check out San Antonio, Austin and Memphis. Anyone know of some places we can't miss? We like to experience some local flavor when we travel.

Welcome and congratulations on your MIMI. Sounds great. I got mine two weeks ago in Memphis after a two month wait. As far as things in Memphis, if you are an Elvis fan there are a lot of places to visit. Also you may want to go to Beal Street for an evening. Lots of local flavor,food, and music there. I don’t know if you are the type who might enjoy it, but the Memphis Zoo has a really good Panda exhibit. Probably the best in the country. It is a little pricey but worth it. You may want to contact the local MINI club at www.midsouthminiacs.org for more local information. Good luck and happy motoring.

We are looking for things to do in San Antonio, Austin, Memphis, and Nashville. I am thinking about hitting Deal's Gap too. We are not really into tourist type stuff. If there is any Hole-in-the-wall type places let me know.
