I have seen several links speaking to the security issue of the MINI. I have a transmission lock installed on my car in addition to an alarm system and LoJack. I love my 05 MCS. I could not stand for anyone other than myself having this much fun with my car. Anyone interested in the transmission lock, contact me.

If you look around, you will find it just about impossible to find ANY MINI stolen where they keys weren't involved or towed away. That sound make you feel a bit more safe ... MINIs are pretty safe from "casual" theft.
