I can't sleep at night
I picked up my new MCS 2 days ago. I just can't sleep at night. I want to get up and drive it. So I get up early and take the long way into work.
Is sleep deprivation going to be a part of my life from now on, or does it ever go away?

I didn't realize that you were in STL also. I live in South County and work in Fenton, so I stay more south.
I'm sure I'll see you at events around town. I'm going to miss the breakfast run this Saturday because I have to take Cube back to the dealer to finish up the pre-delivery detailing and they didn't have my HB shift ****. I kind of picked it up in a rush Tuesday to beat the $300 price increase.
When I got my MINI, I couldn't focus on my work-outs at the gym, 'cause all I could think about was my precious MINI sitting in the parking garage and how much I wanted to motor!
I don't have that problem anymore, but I still feel excited as I walk back to her, throw my gym bag in the boot, and motor home.

Same things has happened to me too it is fun to drive to and from work again. Also, just seeing another MINI brings a smile to my face, I'm in Washington DC driving a rental car and not a MINI which just doesn't feel good. I'm from Festus but work in St. Louis and just don't see a lot of MINIs around yet, the numbers are increasing though. I'll be at the Sat. drive and breakfast, hope to see as many of you as possible there.
same symptoms
I've just placed my order and I have the same symptoms u do. I read the brochure before bed, I stare the the same pics over and over, and the moment i close my eyes, i'm lost in mini land.
is there a cure for these?

Yes! I do this too, I'll out to the carport with my flashlight just to look at my car.
And when I'm not looking at it or cleaning it (with the dozen or so products I have), I'm on websites looking at what I else I could be doing for her. My mini's always on my mind! My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy!
Glad to know it's not just me

What do you do at the drives and things that I see being mentioned? I am new to this so pardon the lack of knowledge...Are there kids/families there or mainly couples/singles? or everything in between?
Welcome, ReneMini!
Glad to hear you love your car...Had mine almost a year and I always take the long way home!
And there's been a few times I've gone out in the middle of the night just because I didn't get my driving fix during the day!
Glad I live in Vegas - can always find someplace to go 24/7!
