Sweet ride!! Are you saying that you strolled into a Mini dealer and then drove out? No wait? No weeks of obsessing? That is awesome! You should share the specs on Nigel. I really like the HB with the white top and skirting, a good color combination! Almost as nice as CR/B!! Welcome to the Mini community!

Thanks for the reply. Yea--I was supposed to get an X3 for a third car--we live in st l and weather and all..anyway, the showrooms are side by side and I kept straying over to the mini's..I didn't want to wait so I picked this one off the showroom...I don't think I have enough knowledge to onder over it...next time (if there is one) it will be different..

Nice car, but the contrasting bumpers and skirts are not to my taste.

yea--it's funny that you say that. If I would have ordered one, the front bumper is the only one I would have changed to the body color. I like the rear and side skirts in silver..I opted to take it and not wait the 10 weeks for ordering. Also, it was a Val day gift from my husband and I wanted to drive it away...

. . . this contrasting aero kit was schemed out by the dealer and the car was "in stock" on the lot?

I think it looks pretty cool. I think what would make it the cream of the crop would be to paint the wheel wells to match the body and the bumper

Otherwise love the car. You are lucky, we ordered our second mini (MINE) on October 5, we are expecting to pick her up this Sat (keep figners crossed). Good luck and happy motoring

Yea--The sales mgr said the dealership is owned by a woman and she does this to one car on the showroom at a time...the last one was black/red combo..he was laughing at her b/c the sales guys said it would never work..he then told me the blk/red combo sold w/i 3 hours on the floor..I think mine had been there a month or so...

You met your mini--beats candy and flowers any day. It also helps that my husband would let me bring home an astin martin if I wanted...He has a little "car" problem--which I am sure you "car guys/gals" understand..

Congrats on Nigel. I just picked up my Emma (HB/S) on 2/17. Obviously, I like the HB and the silver roof and stripe! The front and rear bumper are too much for me but I like the looks of the side aero skirt in silver. You have a very unique combination - enjoy!

Excellent specs! Especially the cold weather package! Last week when the Colorado front range was enjoying 13 below zero temps, I was wallowing (technical term... ) in mine! And I'll bet St.L. sees some chilly morns as well! Happy motoring!
