My name is Patrick and today I ordered my new MINI.

Here's what I got:

2006 MCS
Hyper Blue with Black Roof/Mirrors
6 speed manual
DSC
LSD
Gray/Black leatherette seats
Hyper Blue interior surface
Anthracite headliner
Multi function steering wheel

I pretty much picked the options that I knew I either wouldn't or couldn't do myself later and went with those. Anything else I want will be a fun project to do whenever I get the itch to make a change. It's pretty basic compared to the full plate of options I see a lot of people getting, but I am very very excited today!

It's going to be a long wait until mid-May.

where did you order it? I placed an order in mid-Jan, I have to wait until
Sept :( I did it at East Bay Mini in north Cal. and they dont charge any
mark up, just msrp, how about you?
Mine is almost same as yours except Anthracite headliner
Multi function steering wheel.

 

Great color/ Nice options..the antracite headliner will look cool....

The wait...well, that's a part of ordering and owning a MINI.

I'm thrilled to see people spec'ing HB/B. I think its a gorgeous combo. Huge congrats on the order!!

 

I know how you feel, I just ordered mine yesterday and thats all I could think of today. I love the Hyperblue/black combo and struggled between that and the Chili red/black combo until almost the last minute. Chili Red won out, but Hyper Blue was a very close second. Sounds like a great car!!!!

 

I ordered mine from Classic MINI in Cleveland. Mike and Bill were very helpful and friendly on the phone. As a bonus, I'll go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame again when I go pick it up - that should make for some extra fun on an already fun trip.

I'm paying MSRP and they are throwing in the floor mats and the cup holder.

My second color choice was DS/B, but when I saw the HB/B with HB interior surfaces I was hooked.

By the way, has anyone seen the car that *was* for sale at www.buyourmini.com? That was a screaming deal for somebody! I found it too late, but now I get to own a new one, so I'm happy!
