I am up in the air about tint right now....we'll see what happens though,

I see that our ship is moving along nicely and is on time! Looks like we are still scheduled to set sail tomorrow.

Anyone planning on doing there own oil changes or waiting until the car says its time? I come from the old school of thought...3 months or 3k miles.

I'm passing on tinting...seems kind of daft tinting a convertible, especially if it's supposed to be open 90% of the time.

Nice to see lady LIBERTY is still on schedule. Still, it's going to be an agonizing few weeks.

Welcome, Coobah!

This thread I linked above has all the info you could possibly need about tracking your MINI:

Thanks Porco,
ASK MINI told me it was done, and at the dock, but did not come up in the search I tried. I followed your directions in teh posted link.
Any ideas?

Thanks again for the help!

DId you go to Cargo Tracking at the Walhenius Wilhelmsen site?

http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp

If you select Cargo Tracking, and then AUto Tracking, you should be able to track by your VIN number, if the car is scheduled to be on a WW ship.

HEMI: I have tried twice unsuccessfully to request a login/password for the AISLive two-week trial.

Would it be OK to ask for your login information?

Thx...Paul

Note: The LIBERTY has not shown up yet on this tracking site...

Liberty PIC

Here she is sitting at the doc...live pic from a few minutes ago. Looks like she is running a day late.

AISLive confirms that she has not moved.....I have been refreshing the page and have seen other ships around her moving along.

Interesting tidbit....the Liberty is the only ship in the WW fleet that flies an American Flag

Liberty is not scheduled to leave until 10 AM EST This is according to the departure/arrival schedule found on the Southampton VTC website. Unless she makes great time coming over the pond expect expect a 1 day delay so estimated arrival in NY would be 3/13

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was expecting to wake up this morning and see that the LIBERTY had miraculously made it halfway across the pond!

At least the WW site shows that I've been loaded on the LIBERTY.

Anyone come up with a name for their Mini? My wife thinks I'm crazy.....well she right, but that's beside the matter. Of course, she thinks it is her car...alot she knows.

Okay guys.....LIBERTY is on her way! I just uploaded a picture to my gallery which shows radar tracking from the Southampton VTC.

I double checked her schedule....she is on time at this point. Lets hope mother nature keeps it this way!

New picture added to my gallery......another AISLive picture showing the LIBERTY being pulled by the Southampton Patrol tugboats. Don't worry the LIBERTY is fine. This is very normal....afterall, the LIBERTY is big boned!
