Electric Window problems

I have an '03 Mini S electric blue and black, loaded up and I love it. But, I have had problems with the electric motors that operate the windows, both have been replaced under warranty and maybe one of them twice. I live in MS but have a home also in the Tennessee smoky mountains where I love to drive my MINI. I have six vehicles (from SSR Chevy to Hummer), my MINI S is the most fun of all.

Welcome to the world of BMW and window problems: motors, regulators, etc etc it's just endemic to the brand. When I had to have both of my window regulators replaced on my $24K 05 S at 6K miles (squealing) there was a guy who was having the same thing done to his $94K 6-series convertible--at only 3K miles!

It just goes with the territory, and is a constant source of frustration for BMW/MINI SA's everywhere. My dealer replaces so many regulators that they're back ordered on an average of two-three weeks. You think BMW would find a better source.... JB
