New MCS in Reading PA...

The car is great....The forum is great.....Everything is great. I just got hooked up with a white one....2006, no stripes, black top, 17" anthracite wheels. It's sweet. But the road salt gotta go!

Congrats on your new MCS and welcome to NAM! You should also check out www.soopercoopers.com. It's a local Reading based MINI group. In fact, there is a little get together planned for this coming Saturday... a screening of both Italian Jobs movies. Good chance to get to meet some of the members (I plan to be out there). Full details are available on the site.

Welcome aboard & congrats! It does really suck to have a shiny new car when the roads are covered in slop. Hang in there spring is on the way.

Yeah...I picked it up during the Jan heat wave. Had almost a week with no wash. I loved it while it lasted.

Mini group in Reading? Well I'll be.... I have to check them out. If I wasn't going on vacation this weekend, I may have just taken you up on your invite. Another time perhaps. Thanks for the info and the welcome.

When you get a chance post some pix.

I'd love to see the PW with anthracite wheels.

I have to say you have a very nice MCS there! I'm not a fan of anthracite wheels, but I have to admit that they are a very nice contrast on your Pepper White.

Yes Chuck....

And no matter how you visualize the anthracites....they look much nicer in person. I was a little tense before I went to pick up the car. I had seen them mounted, but only on a dark silver MCS.....and I didn't like.

The wheels nicely compliment the anthracite interior. They also do a great job in hiding the brake dust.....something I remembered through past experience with alloy wheels.
