Either way, there's plenty of dealerships out there to order a custom ordered mini that will get here in the same time you got yours. 'nuff said.
I remembered his ID from a previous thread, ordered back in Oct/Nov, gets a production number in May and a car maybe by Aug/Sept. Those waits just seem extreme, he personally likes it because of wanting to pay off his other car. But I'd like to know what's really going on with those MINI dealers.

From my understanding it has to do with the allotment to this particular dealership. There is just one MINI dealer in Washington State, and one in Oregon for that matter, and both have hellacious wait times. We sure could use at least one more dealer in the Northwest to cut down on wait times.

I would hope allotments have to do with monthly volume of cars sold. You'd think that less dealers would mean more cars since they have all the traffic in a particular region. Didn't mean to be so harsh before, mostly a reaction to those wait times. Are MINIs pretty rare to see on the highway in the NW? They have been getting pretty plentiful around Downtown Orlando where our dealer is. I think they are MOOVVING some cars around here. I passed on a RG to order a PW, it might have been one of the 1st RG's to come over it was here in early OCT. PEACE.

I understand.

Sometimes I will see about two in a day, other times, I will go a week or so without seeing one. By no means are these cars common around here.

Well, its ordered. I already have a production number and am sloted for for production week 6. I should have my new Mini by mid March.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I added the Anthricite headliner.

Let the wait begin.
