Are there any major differences between a 2002, '03 and '04 MCS? I'm not talking about small visual differences, but major ones like HP, drivetrain and major options. Thanks, New Guy

Chronology of US MINI Changes

 

02-04 changes were more minor feature and cosmetic related, so not much.

However, from 04-05 the changes were major in comparison (gearing, bigger SC on the S, changed/refined interior features, headlights, tail/BU lites, etc.)

 

The supercharger was NOT bigger starting with July 2004 builds ... the blades had a different coating on them.

 

in early 2003 MINI softened the shocks. Mine is early 03 so it rides like a truck. I love it.

 

Well excuuuuuuse me, howzaboot more efficient supercharger? Will that work? JB
