Yes, I'm a newbie. In fct I haven't even taken delivery of a Mini yet. This will probably happen next year.

Question 1: Is mintenance documntation available from BMW or some other source? If yes, who and how?

Question 2: I'd like to install an XM tuner interfaced with the existing audio system. Does anyone have experience doing this? How and what?

Question 3: I will definitely install an oil pressure and voltmeter gauge. Could someone share their experience in doing this?

I say your best friend on those Qs is going to be the search option on this site. Put those key words in a search and read for hours, you'll end up learning WAY more than you set out to.

I can only answer your first question. There is a Bentley manual for the 2002-2004 model year cars, but nothing yet for the 05s and 06s. People seem to think that there won't be one, since a lot of stuff is the same and since the 07s will be all new anyway.
