My new '06 Mini specs - suggestions?

Here's my latest Mini Build (yes, I have many, but this is the latest and most accurate):

To save money I decided to get the LSD and no JCW kit. I'll JCW or aftermarket later...

I'm still deciding between pure silver vs. dark silver... hmm... choices...

Looks good, I might recommend the convience package. Course, I'm spoiled with the rain sensor after having one

Looks good.

06 MCS with LSD is very sweet. You might not need any JCW kit (especially if you ever get light rims and non runflat tires).

Pure silver is pretty light in color. Dark silver is a classic color for the MINI and is pretty good on looking "less" dirty.

"Warm bottom" is good if you get enough cold weather in your area.

If you live anywhere it gets below freezing for a couple months of the year than cold weather would probably be worth it. I live in MN and am looking forward to heated seats almost as much as the JCW add-ins. I rented a car with heated seats before and have almost bought them after-market for $300, and that does not include install. As the seats are $270 of the $300 it becomes a no-brainer to me, $30 is worth it to have the washer jets work. If the girlfriend has a good chance of becoming more then it doesn't hurt to give the MINI a little of her - means you'll enjoy it together more. If you aren't sure that that's the case - well, decide if you want to not spend the first few minutes every drive (especially from a parking lot) in December-February cold.

The color is a tough choice, the day I ordered my car I walked around the dealership even in the bay looking at MINIs with the colors I was debating. I'm sure the salesman thought I was crazy. Luckly that was the only option in question. I still look at PS/B and PW/B and wonder if I would have liked it more.

LSD is an option I would have never passed on if I had had the chance.

I did get the heated seats-Wife loves them and I never use mine. I don't think it gets cold enough for me to want it on where I live.

I'm glad the JCW kit wasn't available from the factory when I bought or my payment would be a lot higher.

Okay, you asked. I would drop the premium package, add rear fog light to fill out the toggle panel, and reconsider the sport pack with webspokes. If I had to do it over again, I would have bought the DSC and Xenons a la carte, since I changed out the factory wheels/runflats as soon as I drove home. I guess sunroof/etc is highly subjective, I went for lightness with just a touch of lux, the LSD is definitely option #1 for anyone serious about performance in their MCS.

Heated seats are great, I use them almost every day now. One of those things that you wouldn't think you'd use until you have a car with them.

The LSD is a good option, just keep in mind that on some roads it can make the ride a little twitchy. Not a problem if you keep your mind on the road, but if you just like to cruise it might annoy you. I'd recommend taking an extended test drive in a MINI with LSD to make sure you like it.

Auto dimming mirrors. They are good, unfortunatly the MINI only dims the center mirror. Other cars dim all three, and the MINI's mirror doesn't seem to react as quickly as I'm used to either. It works, but not as well as the Audi system I had previously.

The rain sensing wipers are excellent. I've yet to find a condition that they aren't the perfect speed for.

Definitely getting the LSD - it's about the best bang for the buck for a manufacture add-on

I love that double-pane sunroof and the extra amenities of the premium, so it's worth it to me (I did one build where I added pieces a la carte and ended up spending more).

THis build does have the sports package and the extra $500 for the spoke wheels. (at least I thought i added that... ?)
