I got my MINI today!!!

I live in Southern California, and I had a list with driving directions to each of the MINI dealers in the area. This was apparently my *very* lucky day. The first dealership I stopped at was South Bay Motors (who sell at MSRP). They had one new '06 MINI Cooper S on the lot. It was British Racing Green with black bonnet stripes, tan leather seats, sunroof, sports package- everything I was looking for. By the end of the afternoon, I was a happy MINI owner! I was never so glad to have a LONG ride home- it was a great opportunity to bond with my new MINI. By the time I got home I felt confident behind the wheel, and was truely enjoying my "motoring experience". I still can't believe that I found the car I was looking for at the first dealership I went to. What are the odds?!

Ditto here: Hope you have as much fun as I'm having. I picked my S up last Sat and have had a great time the last seven days. Even drove it in the first snow storm of the season last Wed night without snow tires and it was great. It's hyper blue with a silver top and chrono pack. I can't remember when I had so much fun passing people on my way to work. I really love the tailgaters. I hammer it and just watch them fade. It's a rush. Pulling away in the turns is even more fun. They can't believe that's possible.

Please post interior and exterior pictures! I am relatively new to MINIS and don't recall seeing tan leather seats. I bet that looks great with the BRG.

Please take pics (including interior) when you are not driving the car and post them. 2006 models come in different color combos so it would be enlightening for those of use who drive the older MINIs. Happy motoring.
