The First Week

Well it was one week ago today that I flew down to Miami to pick up our new/used MINI (04 MCS with JCW). http://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ead.php?t=53007 Man has it been a fun week! And this forum has been a BIG help already! Thanks to everyone here. Got a new pair of shoes for her already, the tires it had were not up to par. The new BFG's are a huge improvement. We're getting the windows tinted on Thursday. This car has gotten the left side of the brain to fully override the right side This car rocks!

Havin too much fun

I picked mine up a week ago yesterday. She's already had one bath and I can't wait to give her another. I'm like a proud parent! Oh yeah, the driving part is fun too.

White Mountain

Well, Just had to say hello. I found out today that Sat. is pick up day. Ya-hoo. Can't wait. It won't seem real until I'm back in New Hampshire on the back country roads. More later, happy motoring and thanks for all the advice put forth on this great website.

Congratulations on your new MINI...but what do you mean by left side of brain overriding the right side?....the other way around sounds more like it.

Life with a MINI is "right brain dominant" - artistic, intuitive, visual, no sense of time, enjoy sensory input, simultaneous processing of information, etc, etc!!

Congratulations to everybody! I have had my MCSa since May and just floored the throttle this past weekend. Woosh. I don't think I will do it again. But there was an indefinable thrill to it.
