Hello friends, my name is Ben and I'm addicted to NAM . Seriously though I am, I usually spend at least two or three hours a day on here( I have an obsessive personality and ever since I got my mini thats all I think about ). It's funny for all time on time I've spent on this site I never bothered to register until today and it feels so good to finally be a member and be able to talk to all of you. Anyways just wanted to introduce myself and thank all of you for all the valuable info on this site. I've learned so much from NAM it's amazing

Welcome aboard. This really is an amazing resource. I suspect the lack of replies has to do with the time of your first post rather than any type of cold shoulder. Maybe we can get a lot of posts on the subject of whether the MINI is more of a vegetarian’s or meat eater’s car.

Thanks again for all the replies:smile:. My MINI is a 05 hyper blue/black S. I've had it for about 4 months and it already has 17,000 miles on it( I bought it new so as you can see I like to drive).Acually I would have so many more miles on her but gas prices are killing me. When I first got my MINI I went through a full tank of gas everyday for about a week. I've already begun to de-chrome her and I have a set of volk TE37s, I just need to get them powder coated gloss black and get tires for them. My plan is to get the whole car only black and blue except for yellow tinted headlights. Oh yeah and I live in Fullerton, California(Orange County).

 

As far as the MINI being more of a vegetarian's car or a meat eater's car lets just say it's a happy persons car. Although it would be interesting to see if anyone else here is vegetarian or vegan. Thanks for the thread idea.
