Just bought my wife a MCS, and I think I like it more than she does! We thought it might be too small at first, but yesterday I was able to get a Sony 36" TV in the back!!!

Anyway, this is my first post so glad to join the forum...

 

Welcome to the forums! I've only been on here about 2 weeks now myself, but visit it many times a day. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my '06 MCS. Won't be here till the first or 2nd week of November I'm guessing. I can't wait! Glad you've got yours already and are enjoying it

 

Welcome! It is pretty amazing how practical the Mini is

 

Was that 36" TV in the box? I bought a 27" TV a couple of weeks ago, and it fit i the back (in the box) with about 1/4" to spare.

Actually it was an open box item, so no box. I tried to get same day delivery, but it was a no go. When I told my brother-in-law that it would fit in the MINI he couldn't hardly believe it.

You should have seen the look on the eyes of the TV saleman when we walked outside to load it up...

That's great! Every time I look in one with the back seats folded down I'm amazed at how much space is in there!

Welcome... might i add you have the bestest mini color ever

We put a 26ish incher wega in the back of my mini boxed up with room to spare. Every person that walked by us stopped and stared with mouths dropped to the ground as we just slid the tv in the back no problem. i'd only owned my mini maybe a month, and i already knew the car was perfect, but jeez tried to fit a much smaller tv in my old t-bird, and that didn't work at all.
