MINI sources Stewart Warner gauges for this kit, with custom 'Cooper S' fascias. I REALLY wish it would've included an oil pressure or temp gauge instead of the voltmeter, but that's all they offer...
I have more pics of this kit in my gallery if you are still intrigued...

Well now I no why I don't have my car
I ordered the checkmate package. Well I guess they install the the side checkers on at port and they don't have them at the port. I told my MA that if my car has the bonnet strips on then truck my car up to SF. They can put the checkers on later. Besides I might like the look without the checkers. I have been debating them anyway since I ordered the car. I wish they had told me earlier. I wanted the car before Xmas, now i'll settle for New Year's. But I don't want to wait til after the New Year because of a decal. An extra week and half delay for a decal.

Well, today we get our new car. I probably won't get pictures up until tomorrow afternoon or so as we have a lot to do today, but we'll be driving it all over!
Once I can I'll get some pictures for everyone. Eventually I'll try for some night ones as well to see the illuminated sills and such.

We got it!
There was a small scare with finances. We may have had to get qualified for another loan to take the car, but a combination of Wells Fargo online and the BMW/MINI staff pulled it through for us.
When I got it to my parents to drop our old car off for temporary storage I noticed the rear bumper guard was missing - so I need to call my MA tomorrow and see what we can do about that (I'll scratch it to no end without it!). Other than that it's great, I'm number 105xx (don't remember, I'll have it memorized soon enough) for JCW and looking forward to the next 10+ years with my MINI!
I do have a delivery pic and will post it tomorrow. Oh, and the parcel shelf is already in .

We picked ours up today! Took a while, as the dealership was very busy, but was a great experience. Kudos to everyone at South Bay MINI for making it a great experience!
Forgot to take any photos, which was annoying, but hopefully there'll be some sun tomorrow instead of this thick fog. Will post some photos then.
The car is fantastic... looks beautiful. Xenons are fantastic; I almost giggle every time I see them come on and level. Engine is great too, so much more responsive than the old Cooper was. Having a hard time keeping it under 4500rpm of course.
The only tricky part is the stick shift. Getting the hang of it now, and was confident enough to drive with traffic for a little while without any issues. Hopefully after a few more days it'll all be natural and the stalling and bucking will be a thing of the past...
Oh, and the sound of the supercharger.. so sweet. I think an Alta intake is on the short list!

Oh ya forgot to say
I have installed my Alta antenna, Knee pad from My mini, Red tow hook, Union jack valve caps, Union jack license plate frames, glove box organizer & Whalen shift **** (wings #2)
After inspecting car for a hour the checkmate plates on side windows are not applied evenly. One higher the other way low. British craftmanship overseen by the Germans.
Next mods custom roundel roof decal, Boot mat and rubber floor mats ordered rubber but they gave me carpet instead. I'll order the circles from Coopersport in Canada.

sounds fantastic skip! well on my way to work today I hit 1150 miles and I'll be visiting family after I get home from work so I'm almost positive I'll complete the break-in period today! I can't wait to wind these gears up a bit! I'll probably go through the next tank of gas pretty quick
