Lydia is due to arrive at the dealer on Friday. We have set up and appointment to pick her up on Monday evening. Hey DID what is the EURO whatever??

Euro Parcel Shelf - it's an additional storage area under the steering wheel that comes standard in Europe. In the U.S. we just get a plastic panel. It takes about 5 minutes to remove the old piece and install the tray.

Just received an update from the dealer that Zephyr is now scheduled to arrive at port on Nov. 5 -- looks like our Minis are shipmates afterall, and that the delivery date to port is (perhaps) one day sooner! :smile:

 

My Mini is at the dealer, getting a few bits added, I am picking her up Saturday!

 

My Dealer Hank Aaron in Atlanta called tonight, said Yum Yum will be at the dealer Thursday, I set up appointment to pick her up early Saturday morning. Can't wait!:impatient

 

According to the shipping site, the Patriot has landed at Baltimore, headed to Charleston tomorrow for 29th arrival. Cool!

I think I might be getting a little excited now. :impatient

Well I don't have it in my possession yet...but here's a picture of it that the dealer sent me...I'll it on Wednesday of next week tho! I'm couinting the hours...worst part is that I have to travel for work the day before I go pick up my Mini....

 

Today's the day. We pick up Alice this afternoon. Couldn't manage to get there after work yesterday and it took a little longer than expected to put on the clear bra. ... Now if my wife will just let me drive it...

Wow you get yours on Monday. That's great!

I called my substitute MA yesterday. He said he has no idea when it'll show up. Then when I told him it was here in the states he says maybe next week. Everytime I talk with this guy I get the impression he could care less about me or my car. I think maybe I should have a talk with his boss about his attitude.

My MCS came in on the same ship as Lydia so maybe it'll be soon for me too. Thanks for letting me vent here....VENT!!!

Personally, I would call the MM and ask for a status from them. I always try to deal directly with the MM since they are the ones that really know the full scoop on things. The MA's are great and all, but generally my experience has been that they aren't around as long as the MM and the MM have a much more reliable sense of how things are going to play out.

Just my $0.02 based on the past four years.

Thanks for the tip on calling the MM. I'll be doing that tomorrow.

I checked on MINI.com in the owners lounge & my car is now listed as at the distribution center. A little more digging shows an estimated delivery of 10-29-05!!! The space where it says factory installed options is blank though. Hey maybe I'm getting one of those new lightweight MCS' that I've been hearing about.

11/6 in Port Hueneme seems far away, so I'm hoping the time passes quickly. Still nice to see the East Coast Week 40 MINIs getting into their new homes.

 

I'm picking my MINI up tomorrow afternoon as well! Exactly 5 weeks to the day since I placed my order.
