Hello all!

I looked at getting a Mini a few months back, but instead opted for a lil different style and ended up with a Chevy SSR.

Coming back from a recent cruise, I saw a Dr Pepper labled Mini heading north on I-75 and remembered they were having a contest to give away a Mini a day for 75 days. I drink Dr Pepper ALL the time, but never enter contests as I have the luck of Abel (If you don't get it, ask me later). After seeing the Mini I said to myself "What the heck, it's free to try"...anyone figured out where this is headed yet? I won! Just sent the paperwork in to confirm, now the waiting part .

Anyway, sorry for the lengthy first post, but I just wanted to say Hi!

A small question, do you have to take one of the dr. pepper logod minis or can you custom order your own?

Donna/Mike, Not sure on delivery, they were ordered a few months back (contest states up to a year, but not expected to take that long). Actually will be delivered to the closest BMW/Mini dealer (Jacksonville FL). Pics will be posted for sure!

Minimaxxnc, Actually is pepper Red Mini Cooper convertible, not S . (Like I am REALLY gonna complain!) Doesn't come with the DP logos, but that woulda been removed anyway! Abel = First murder victim...baaaad luck.

dr. Not a problem! No apologies necessary! Been cussed by everyone I know! Talk about rubbing it in to people, I bought an 05 Tahoe in February (treded in wife's 04 so she could get sunroof and DVD), Bought my 05 SSR in March, so people already talking about us dealin to pay for those... , THEN I tell em I won ANOTHER 05...I have to watch my back daily!
As to your last question, it has to be the one's they ordered, but I am SURE a smart dealer wouldn't pass up the oportunity to upsell me when I go to pick it up!

i think i saw a pic of one where the rear seats were converted into a giant cooler for Dr. Pepper. Wow i really have to start drinking DP.

BTW the SST always brings a smile to my face. Reminds me of a 'toon car! Of course, with their big buggy eyes, our MINIs are not far behind...

 

Lucky! I've been consuming Dr. Pepper at an alarming rate, but don't think I'll be as lucky. My dentist will be happy : )

Congrats! I used up my luck last summer when I won a Harley-Davidson 1200R. That was a shocker. After paying income tax on the beast, we sold it and put that money towards the Mini (which arrives in two days!).

Congratulations again! Everyone will give you a hard time, but deep down their happy to know someone that has actually won something big!

I only got the boxes/bottles of dr. pepper at first just to put it in my collection of mini stuff :P but i've entered a few codes. No luck I'd be scared to win a conv't, i don't think i could afford the taxes!

I just found out our entire stock of Dr. P bottles in the vending machine upstairs are ones with the mini contest I got a couple.

 

Ururk, 20oz bottle. Kinda funny thing is, I only put in a total of 12 caps since I saw that Dr P Mini!

VM, USA and Canada only I believe...
