New member, finally got my MINI!!!!
Hello group,
My name is Derek Slates. I live in Gunnison, CO. I finally got my Mini after 2.5 years of obsessing. I have a used (but new to me :smile: ) 2002 Cooper S. Chilli red with black roof, black stripes with silver out lining. Moon roof, and a lot of other fun things. I bought it on Friday from Ralph Schomp with under 5000 miles. already this weekend I put on 1,300 miles. God it felt great.
Does anyone know how to laod pics on hear?

All I can say is that's an awesome ride to have where you live. I rode my motorcycle out that way a few summers ago and it was great. Some of roads out there would be wonderful in the mini (as they were great on the bike)...

Thanks for the info
it is a great car for around here. Tons of twisty roads, my Wife just got a new Audi A3, so we have been racing through some of the passes. Thanks for the info on the pics. Does anyone live near my neck of the woods? montrose, grand junction, or salida?
