OK, I read the forum all the time but am still lost on some of the abreviations I see used that are Mini specific. Some like MC and MCS are obvious, and reading has told me some things like BBK = Big Brake Kit and CAI = Cold Air Intkae, but if there is a definitive list out there I can't find it and it's hard to read sigs when you don't know what MTH and GIAC are! Can someone point me to the Mini translations page?

 

The easiest way to search for the meanings of those terms would be to just type them into the search window...I actually don't know what GIAC means, I know MTH is an abbreviation/initials for the name of the German company/group that started the software updates...something German that I can't pronounce, and wouldn't pretend to know how

I suppose I actually could have searched for those terms and given them to you here, but it would have made me look like I'm smart, and that's too far from the truth

Can somebody tell me what an MA is? I think it means MINI dealer, but what does it mean exactly?

 

That's the method I was using, but I was hoping that there was a list somewhere. It would sure be helpful for newbies! At least I hadn't missed something obvious.
