Any reports on the auto trans? I have bad knees and will have to get the auto trans when I order my Mini S. I was curious what you folks had to say about it.

 

Do a search on the forums for "Cooper S Automatic" and other variants. There has been lengthy discussion on the topic.

Also, check out http://www.motoringfile.com for an article with in-depth thoughts and analysis of it as well. Do a search on MINI2.com, as they have had some spirited discussion as well.
