Calling all CA Buyers!!!

I just ordered my MCS CR/W with CR interior yesterday through Classic Mini and received my production number! Woo Hoo! Can't wait to browse the lounge at miniusa.com!

My buying experience was EXCEPTIONAL! I encourage ALL CA buyers to order through Classic via Julie Saxa (440-266-6700 x2703 & julie@driveclassic.com). This is what I got:

MSRP Only! (no idiotic dealer markup like MINI of Concord's $2699)
April/May delivery (no ridiculous 11 month wait like at East Bay Mini)
20% off of ALL accessories (excluding JCW)
Julie's award winning personality!

I personally spent two days driving to Niello of Sacramento, Mini of Concord, East Bay Mini of Pleasanton, & San Francisco Mini and was appalled at what they had to offer.

I have yet to hear of any better deal in the US. I am not advertising for them nor do I get commissions on sales, this post is born out of pure excitement and the desire for all NAM members to get the best deal so they can afford luxuries like the JCW options!!! I don't understand why anyone wouldn't order from Classic Mini. It's a win win purchase. Plus, the more CA buyers we can get to place an order NOW, the cheaper the shipping will be for all of us. Classic uses only the best companies with covered transports to deliver your Mini to your home town. YES, you don't have to drive to any dealership to pick up your car, they will come to your neck of the woods and deliver!!!

Your subject drew me in thinking it was for people who bought in CA. Since I clicked it I figured I'd post since I'm excited about our car's impending arrival any minute now

We already have our MCS MSRP order placed in CA, Southbay Mini, Dec order with Jan production, arriving on the ship today. When we were looking we found places both in and outside of California with MSRP and varying waits - perhaps you missed calling around to places in Cal but outside the SF Bay Area. I hear Classic is super tho andmight have gone with them too if we had had the time, and good weather, to drive the car back this time of year.

Anyway, glad you are happy with your order and choice Will look foarward to your pics when you get it

I bought a car from Julie in December and had a similar experience. Couldn't be happier!

Chief Charlie's deal with sharing an enclosed transporter is an excellent bargain. My wife and I flew to Cleveland and drove back to Sacramento for about the same price, but we had friends and family to stay with - and eat with - all the way across the country. And gas was about $0.20 per gallon cheaper then!

I hope to meet you Auburn and Reno people soon - check out our local message board at Gold Country MINI. (The link for the forum is at the bottom of the page.)

Congrats on your order and satisfaction. I too ordered from Julie - nothing but positive words about her and Classic. I did call around to other CA dealers before settling with Classic. CA dealers that sell at MSRP had a long waiting list.

I did this last spring, but I went through Mini of the Hamptons. MSRP and $500 to ship all the way to Newark, Ca.

D'oh! I'm going all the way to Utah to get mine . . .

I reckon I'd have done the same thing, too. Instead I ordered mine through MINI of Murray in Utah. March build. The upside is that I'll be able to road trip home in the new MCS. What's even more, I'll stop in for the night in fabulous Winnemucca, NV!

Niello MINI

figgered since I was in town I'd motor my rented crappy Pontiac Sunfire into Niello MINI Sacto and park right in front. wearing my MINI hat (I own a 05 S) I was literally blown off by the MA. general snotty attitude by all. anywho, I decided to scope the new car prices, and was not surprisingly appalled:

"Dealer Pak": sunshade, wheel locks, boot box, mats-- $995

OMG I almost fainted......

All Coopers seemed to have the DP, while S's had the DP plus a $1,595 markup. woo hoo!!

I love it: markups still existing 3.5 years after vehicle introduction. no wonder our resale values lead the industry (and dealerships like Classic thrive). jimbo

LOL, that is just wretched - Niello is truly awful for BMW sales & service as well as Mini.

South Bay Mini in Torrance CA turned out to be super and all MSRP, though

I was almost going to ask for a good dealer in California. I'm thrilled about the transportation service from Classic, could they bring the MINI to my place in Mexico?

Before I forget, Is there a dealer near to San Diego?

Same here, except I got mine last July - coming up on our first anniversary (aw...). Jerry was great, and I've heard great things about Classic Mini, too. Either way, it beats paying over sticker someplace closer to home!

Dealer pack over MSRP. Sounds aweful to me, does anybody pay over MSRP? It is bad business practice.

I would've gladly paid over MSRP if it meant I could get my MINI sooner! This wait is killing me!
