Hi Floydian1973 Here (N13 Build)

Hi it’s Floydian1973,

I have a car with the heart of the MCS N18. It’s a 2015 120i mplus. The car has the logitunally mounted N13 engine which is the same as the N18 apart from its turbo charger which is a Garrett GT1549ZDL. In stock form it produces 177ps (174bhp).

I did a number of engine mods such as a

10.8LT FMIC intercooler, Water/meth injection kit, 42mm compressor hybrid turbo (42-42), Greddy profec evc, Wossner forged pistons, ZRP forged rods, ACL bearings, ARP studs etc.

I would like to have more power, an option is to get the head port polished. What do you suggest?

Weclome Cuz !

Not sure if Port & Polish would be material to your desires ..... but there might be some head clean up of rough edges that might provide some incremental gains.

You did not mention tuning at all - I would look at that. How free flowing is your exhaust system I from downpipe to tailpipe

Off course there is tuning, exhaust is 80 to 62 downpipe, and full direkt flow exhaust 63mm.
