Hello everyone.

I'm not exactly new to NAM or to the Mini world. I've posted here a few times on other topics, and I've been reading for months. This board is awesome, and it gives me my daily fix of Mini talk. It figures, though, that I would skip over the whole "neutral to first" thing and realize that I needed to post a HELLO on here before I got started. So... HELLO EVERYONE!!!

About my Mini... I'm on my second one. My first was an IB/W 03 MCS. It was pretty much a base model, with the only additions of the MFSW and the Mini alarm. I was afraid I couldn't afford much more, and didn't want to pay for options I didn't think I needed. hahahahahaha I didn't dare to dream, I just knew I had to be in a Mini, and I knew I wanted the get-up-and-go of an S. Then after a year and a half, I started realizing that my lil' blue was not depreciating in value really, and I could trade up to an 05 with lots of bells and whistles for very little change in my payments. So my hubbie got on the horn and checked what was in stock for our area (Georgia, S. Carolina, and Florida). Two days later we drove down to Tom Bush Mini in Jax and picked up my CR/W 05 MCS with white bonnet stripes, CR dash, premium, sport, and cold weather packages, the chrono pack, anthracite headliner, and HK. OHHHHHH MAMAAAAA!!! I absolutely love all the upgrades I have now, as well as the new gearing ratio for the 05's. I swear I could take off in first without even stepping on the gas, the car drives itself now! I'm a Mini driver for life!

Okay, so let me just say THANK YOU to all the NAM friends for making this an awesome site, and a great place to talk Mini, when all of my "regular" friends are tired of hearing it. It NEVER gets old to me!

 

Welcome and Congrats on your new CR/W MCS Great color choice, I have a LY/B and if I were to upgrade to a newer year I would get the CR/W and no sunroof.
