New Canadian MCS Owner

New Canadian MCS Owner
Well, after dreaming about owning a MCS since I first test drove one in the UK in 2002 I have finally purchased one. My friends said just 'go for it' and so I did. I pick it up on January 19th and I am getting very excited.
I am British citizen currently living in Calgary, Alberta and have just bought a 2004 Dark Grey MCS. It has the following packages installed:
- Premium package (Glass Sunroof, Heated Seats, Multi-Function Steering Wheel w/Cruise Control)
- Sport Package (17" S-Spoke Alloy Wheels - Style 85 w/Performance Tires, Performance Run-Flat Tires: 205/45R17., Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Foglights.)
Took the car for a test drive on Saturday and just fell in love with it all over again - have driven a 2002 model in the UK and a 2005 model here in Canada. It was a typical Alberta winter day - blue sky with a -20 degree temperature. The car, even with performance tyres handled great - although I hammered the DSC. Would love to buy the 2005 Model but just cannot justify the $35,000 + GST cost (incl. packages). You guys in the states are just so lucky regarding cost. So I am now the proud owner of a 2004 Dark Grey MCS with 14,000km - its like a new car. I normally do a low mileage (8,000km last year) but I may get hooked?
Apparently it was previously owned by a BMW / Mini employee who purchased it under their employee plan. Whether this is good or bad I don't know - I presume it is good? It was first registered on 5th may 2004 so it is less than 9 months old.
Roll on tomorow
