I placed a factory order on a 2023 JCW Clubman two days ago. This will be my first Mini ever!
What I ordered:
Iconic trim
White Silver with Red roof and stripes
Black 18" wheels --the 19" machined wheels are not offered any longer
Chesterfield leather in Malt brown with alloy accents
Roof rails
Restrictions:
My first color choice was Pepper White, but Mini is not allowing the red stripes on that color for some reason.
I test drove a 2022 with the 19" wheels on runflats; found the ride harsh. I wanted the adaptive suspension but Mini is not offering it right now due to ongoing shortages. I am hoping that the 18" wheels with a set of Michelin Pilots will ride more smoothly.
Vehicles are currently being built without security alarm.
The heated steering wheel was also restricted but it appears to have been reinstated on 2023 models.
Anything I should be looking for over the next several months?
This is a rendering of what I ordered. Dealer says it will be 6-9 months for delivery.
