New member here! I recently bought out my Mini from lease, which I never thought about until I started fall in love with this car.
I leased my car about 3 years ago spontaneously, my original plan was just to test drive, nothing else (I was driving NC MX-5 Club then).
What changed my mind was during the test drive was, I noticed pops and crackles coming out from the mufflers, which I always wanted to have in my car.
As soon as I returned from the test drive, I traded in my Miata (sorry, not so sorry) and signed the paperwork at the spot.
After 3 years, now I am going to start modding my car little by little (no more warranty! yay!), first mod will be coming soon!
Here is the pic of my car after buy out. Nice and clean!
Dealer told me that they had to repair the brake rotors to meet their "safety standard" before re-selling the car back to me, which I thought it was BS.
But what brightened my day was, parts department ordered "wrong parts" for brake rotor and I ended up with performance rotors at same price of "normal" brake rotors.
On top of that, they lent me a new 230i for about a week.
Drive safely everyone!
