Replaced rear rotors and pads, now both rotors hot on first test drive
Title should say rotors get hot. Can't edit title?
Yesterday I replaced the rotors and pads on my 09 R56. I thought it went well, but in the first short test drive, it feels like the emergency brake is set a bit. I drove a half mile, and both rear rotors are hot.
Do I need to do anything with the emergency brake?
What else could it be?

Did you twist the calipers back in. the rear has what are referred to as actuated calipers. that require them to be pushed In and rotated simultaneously. I have had a few people bring cars to me complaining about the same problem after a break job. most auto parts store sell a tool that aids in the process of retracting the calipers.

a tiny bit (maybe I overtightened it) and it was binding on the Tyrol brass
bushing I had installed. A new slide and a new bushing and all was fine.

It sounds like the piston wasn't pushed/twisted far enough back in and the calipers are dragging causing the heat buildup. The emergency brake settings aren't adjusted at all during a basic pad replacement. It also does sound like the caliper may not be floating on the slide pins. Did you clean and lube the slide pins with caliper pin grease? You do need to use the high heat caliper pin lube as regular lube isn't going to last.
