FOB not unlocking doors or hatchback

FOB will start the car but will not unlock any of the doors or hatchback. 2008 S R56. I have replaced the batteries in both FOB's, the car battery is solid. I bought the car new in 2008. Also does any one have a line on a rearview mirror replacement, my reciever went out for my gagage door. Not looking to put alot of money in the car anymore.

Just one key fob? Is the car new to you?
I believe the R56 fob battery is designed to be charged by being in or close to the ignition. It is not designed to be replaced, although that is possible with enough soldering skill & care.
It may just need to be 're-paired' with the receiver; a sequence of button presses on the fob. Instructions are in the Owners Manual.

If it has comfort access, the battery can be replaced easily. Otherwise yeah, it's surgery to replace the battery.

+1^ Sometimes you can bring it back to life a little setting it on an inductive charger plate for the day, I have done that.
