New guy, thinking about buying a r50/53 MCS manual!

Hi guys,

I'm looking for my new DD and I'm thinking about a mini cooper S manual. My girlfriend had two base models but that's not fast enough for me.

Great, just make sure you have it inspected so you know what it will need as they are all old enough now they will need some work. But they are great cars once you have the maint done.

Word of advice: if you can't wrench on it yourself, look for something else. Paid maintenance/parts are ridiculously expensive on an R53. I have a 2004 and love it but it has required a ton of parts and work which I enjoy doing.
