New to the mini world from Ohio as well. Lucky enough to have an r53 and an r56. Hoping to get lots of questions answered!

 

New to mini cooper AMD so far I love them. My 09 r56 has mostly stock muffler with an exsaust cut out replacing resonator. Before I had that put in the mini had a bad oxygen sensor code. Now that it's been put in the car wont stay running and has a really rough iddle. Would that be the sensor pr do I need to tune the car for the cut out. If I need to tune it would my local mini dealer do that? Wanting to eventually really get it tuned up. Put the ice turbo on it. Any advice and experience helps a ton. Very new to all of this.

 

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting the picture (any more to share). I suspect the members with technical backgrounds will be adding their helpful suggestions, if not you should post your questions in the generation specific areas for best results.

The R56 finally! The grey one is the one my fiance drives most and i am in love with the R56. I love them bithbreally but the R56 is getting the most after market attention.

 

Bought a Clubman 09, I believe R55 yesterday. I have no knowledge of mini jargon but hope to learn. Felt like I was driving a little tank and I know what it is to drive a real one so that’s a compliment most sincerely.
