My 2005 mini S

Well after pulling the Head from the motor to get a better look at why I have no compression to #3 cylinder. Here is what I found. #3 spark plug hole had been stripped out, at some point in the cars life. It was repaired poorly. The spark tip resides a little ways back in the new hole. Caused the exhaust valve demise. At this point I can either have it welded drilled and rethreaded again or find a donor head. The mini has 205k miles on it.

Hi and welcome to NAM!
Get it fixed and report back to us. A used replacement head may be the way to go. Just get it redone, before you put it in!
