New Mini Owner from Dublin, OH

Hi everyone, new owner of a 2012 Clubman S M6, so far really loving it, really surprised at the acceleration and low end torque, was not expecting that when I test drove it...last thing I needed was another car but really fell in love with it.

Question, I believe these came with 195/55R16 tires, this one had 205/45R17s and just replaced them with some new ones of the same size....really like the stance.

Welcome to NAM, nice looking MINI.

Don't let the Corvette know that it is more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow . . . .

Welcome, looks nice as I'm on my second Clubman and love it.

16 inch and 17 inch wheels both came as they were options.

If it had 16s it would have 195/55R16
and 17 was 205/45/17

I’m thinking it came with 16s because the speedo is off by about 4 mph 🤔

Here you go, the car has been in my wife’s family since the early 70’s, here dad finished the restoration in 1974, all numbers matching, we are the 3rd owners, my father-in-law was the 2nd owner...you can see I’m a little **** about clean engines!!

Very nice cars, all of them. But, the MINI is probably the most fun. Welcome to the site.

That’s actually about right. There is an offset in the software so that the speed readout on the speedometer is never below actual, always above.
