New PacNW Owner

Recently purchased a local 05 Mini S 6spd from the second owner. Just about 82k on the clock, 20k on a rebuilt engine with some fun parts all installed by local shop here in Portland. I bought with the intentions of using it for autocross, but I may end up just using it for a weekender. The maintenance and upgrade history I received with the car is very extensive. The previous owner took care of everything, I'll post more about that later. I've had a lot of cars over the years, lots of turbos mostly. Other than front tires, I have no immediate plans for anything.

I'll post pics soon.

Wow, you have the wooden steering wheel option and the rare wooden dash. I have that dash in my R52, 3 piece version. Congrats on a rare find.

So I've been going over the paperwork on my car.
Currently engine performance it has:

K&N Intake
V2 Exhaust header/catback
15% Pulley
ECU Upgrade Stage 2 (says 195hp in notes)
High flow cylinder head

They installed slightly larger pistons during the rebuilt, I don't know the size. I should email them and ask. Its not like its been stroked out to a 2.0L or anything crazy like that.

Curious what it might be for HP/TQ now...

Hi and welcome to the NAM family!
Congrats on your super clean and nicely optioned 05 MCS. All my keepers have the chrono package, as I am an old world gauge kinda guy. The wood grain wheel and dash are kick _ss cool too. I think I would have a hard time turning that one into a track car, as it is one of the two best years for Mini Coopers, by BMW!
It is a keeper and a driver!
There is an event leaving out of Portland in July : http://www.minitakesthestates.com/
