Welcome! Check out the Gen2 forums and FAQ. Is your new ride the factory JCW with N14 engine, or the S with the N18 and the dealer installed JCW upgrade? Either way you have a great car. Post some pics.

Welcome to NAM.

You are now a member of an enlightened group of individuals that recognize that a MINI is great handling car. With the JCW, you have great handling car that also has some nice performance features.

Not sure which Engine but on the build sheet it shows the JCW package for $2,000.00 which includes 17” wheels, Aero kit and Dynamic traction control. So is that the N18?

Wow - that looks great. I drove a 2012 JCW at MINI dealership a few years back. That one was an automatic which, in my opinion, took a lot out of the drive.

Congratulations again on great purchase.

Thanks CPA, I wanted a manual and test drove a couple but I would have to drive barefoot because there was no room for my feet with shoes when shifting. I agree that it takes some of the fun out but the Steptronic is the next best.

From the pics that is a JCW appearance package. It's not an actual factory JCW MINI as it doesn't have the JCW brakes the factory JCW car would of had. So it's an N18 engine.

Can't the Vin Decoder tell if it is a factory JCW? It should also confirm the engine.
