Hello from Hudson Valley, New York.

2010 (June) Factory John Cooper Works R55 N14 Excellent condition.
I’ve had my MINI for almost three years now and am always excited to get out on the road and drive anywhere.
Just starting to delve into doing a few upgrades myself. I’m a beginner and am in the process of learning the basics. This car seems like it would be quite rewarding after finishing a few projects.
Any advice, information or ideas you guys have to streamline any future projects would be awesome!

Welcome, the rare JCW Clubman w/ a sport aero body kit, very nice and rare. R55 section is a great start.

Thank you very much I'm spending the day searching for other peoples experiences with the R55 JCW. Very rare indeed. You know your MINIs. When I bought it I brought it to a dealer where they insisted it wasn't a JCW and that somebody just modified it. When they pulled up the info on the car and saw it was a Factory JCW everyone there wanted to know where I found it and how it was in such good condition. That's when I realized how rare it was. It had 49k in 2015 (still under warranty) and I got it for $14k. Worth $22 back when I bought it. It needed a $150 knock sensor and runs like brand new. I think it'll be well worth the upgrades. The question is where do you go from JCW? Hopefully the thread you sent me will shed some light and inspire.

Yep, that's a good place to start and our website. You can go from mild to wild even on a JCW.

Welcome and Congrats on a rare JCW R55. We've had a Clubman S for years and just got an R55 JCW Clubman to replace it as our shop car.
