..and Countryman makes three.

I know I'm already a member but I figure a new MINI deserves a 1st Gear post. I bought my wife a new 2017 Cooper Countryman ALL4 last night. We decided that, as a family car, the F56 just wasn't cutting it and we needed something more practical. The big surprise here is how much we both enjoyed the Justa Countryman...peppy and light on its feet. So Big Blue came home with us last night:

While I loved my F56, the F60 is a much better fit for my family...and that's what it's all about. Besides, once my wife saw the self-parking feature, she was sold.

As far as upgrades, I need to get some tint on those front windows and throw the Dinan under the hood (just because I can).

Besides, I still have my R52 and you can't beat that for fun. Now, where's the F60 forum?

Just had a tour here in North Carolina on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our group did a bunch of off parkway twisties and had a S like yours in the group. Was amazed at how well it handled.

Congrats. I was curious how the 3 cylinder would do on the Countryman. I know it is more than good on the 5 door. With the Dinan your wife should be powering down the road.

I expected to hate the 3 cylinder in the Countryman...it's actually a joy to drive, even without the Dinan.
