Hello everyone. My name is Orlando and i just recently purchased my first Mini Cooper S. Its a 06 and I love it. Its stock other then the ignition upgrade I've done. I hope to make some new friends as I join this awesome community of fellow car enthusiasts. Thank you

Hi and welcome to the nam family. Congrats on your 06 Mini S!
Lots to learn about your mini. Get your maintenance up to date.
Make sure to use full synthetic oils in your mini, Transmission also (Red Line is great!). Engine w11 also likes Castrol Edge synthetic 5/30.
Check the rear battery box for water, as it can fill up and kill the fuse back there. There is a drain under the battery, that often gets clogged. If you do find water in it, the rear hatch seals may be leaking and the drains for the glass roof may be clogged.
You have what I and many other feel is the best year for the BMW Mini!

Very nice '06 Mini S! Love the roof window flag. Also love the green grass. Nothing like that here yet... we need some warmer days! Looking really good!

Welcome, +1 and check those drain, clean out the sunroof and the drains.
How is the headliner? Sometimes you can tack it back up with 3M headliner glue.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome. I'll be doing a oil change here soon and I'll also check all the drains. It's down right now due to the harmonic balancer starting to come apart but I'm working on fixing that soon. I'll also be replacing the tensioner and belt along with adding a Alta tensioner stop while it's out.
