Hi Mini motorists. I just speced and ordered my first! Looking forward to getting into some of the beautiful drives around NorCal. If anyone has any trips or group rides I should know about, please share!

Congratulations! I just ordered my second MCS last week and can tell you that you have tons of fun awaiting you. I'm considering this time around joining NorCal MINIS. From what I can see they have a lot of fun runs. I'm in the Bay Area and maybe I'll see you around. Make sure to wave 👋
Hi and welcome to the nam family.
There is a run in Nevada City and a great time at the MINI Mania June 24th event.
I will be there, as it was fun and informative last year. There is a fun run with many Mini Maniac's in attendance. It is a don't miss event, if you can make it.

Welcome! Besides the Mini Mania event, there's Mini Meet West in Sonoma from June 26-29. If you're up for a drive, A MINI Vacation in Vegas (AMVIV) 2017 is happening May 18-20.
Another club is Silicon Valley MINI's, but the only way to get any info on it is by joining through Facebook. I wish they also had a regular website like NorCal Mini's for people who don't do Facebook.

Welcome!
Whenever I'm in the bay area and have some extra time I hit up Page Mill Rd west of 280 (SW of mountain view). Very windy, tight curves with well paved roads. There are a ton of bicyclists though so be careful around blind curves and passing. Skyline Blvd is awesome too...84, 92, any of those roads between 280 and Highway 1 are nice. I also took my MINI from Sac to LA via highway 1, it was an awesome road trip! Too bad Hwy 1 is closed at Big Sur though. Lots of good roads in the SF area, watch out for those massive potholes on the highways though...101 is a nightmare.
