Long time BMW owner but decided to get the missus a Mini. I've driven previous generation Minis in the past and have spent countless hours crammed into my uncle's Austin Mini as well as motoring around in Mini Mokes. That all being said we are now proud owners of a lightly used 2015 Cooper S. It is very BMW-like. In fact it out-BMWs many BMWs on the road. It is a funky blue colour (Lapisluxury) with relatively basic options: Harmon Kardon, XL Connected, heated seats and sunroof.

This is going to be an interesting experiment

I'm with you on that one. My wife can't drive a stick either so my Clubby is an auto.
