Just introducing myself here. I bought an 05 R53 a few weeks ago and finally have it ready to try and drive safely.
Bought for what I felt like was a decent deal. Then I proceeded to do very much needed maintenance on it (has 163k miles on the ODO).
Pads and rotors were replaced all the way around. New axles, rack and pinion, front motor mount, and air filter.
It came with a decent suspension set up. Bilstein sport shocks, H&R springs, some sort of over-sized rear sway (its blue), Meagan rear LCA's. Front LCA poly bushings.
Under the hood I saw an Alta CAI and a WMW reduction pulley (it doesn't say which size though the belt is a 1388 size). There is also a cat back which I do not recognize the logo.
I added Konig Wideopen 15x8 +25 wheels (stolen from my Miata build) and some 205/50/15. Decent 15's are getting harder and harder to find locally.
I still need to install the rest of the JCW grill and my roof basket to carry stuff (strollers and the like). The jury is still out if this will be a decent daily to replace my WRX and perform daddy duty for 2 littles ones.
Congrats, and welcome to NAM! It looks like a PO made some nice mods & upgrades to your car. Sometimes that can mean it was driven hard, but it sounds like you're on top of the maintenance and any required or "coming soon" repairs. Enjoy!
