Hi all. I just bought my first Mini -- a 2007 Mini Cooper S. Car is in great shape and is very fun to drive. Hope to get lots of advice from everyone here as I become more familiar with it. The owners manuals are a hoot!
Yes they are! Welcome to NAM dchernikoff and the world of MINI Motoring! Would love to see some pix when you have the chance, and how many miles does it have on it? Any mods made by the prior owner?
I recently picked up an '04 MCS and it had a cold air intake already installed. My next mod was the Sprint Booster to help with the throttle lag. Lots of great user testimonials:
Thanks @dchernikoff , I got a '11 Cooper Hardtop S and loving it. Taken it out a few times down to the 101, and to Pescadero. Where do you live in the city?

Actually I live in Palo Alto. Where are you?
I bought my 09 Mini Chili-Red Cooper S 2-door Hardtop a few months ago, just before my daughter got married. So I used the Mini to cart all the flowers for the wedding up from Palo Alto to Berkeley. I was amazed that I could fit all the flowers for the church plus about 12 dozen roses (in buckets of water) for the reception! My only regret is that I didn't take a picture of the Mini totally full of flowers, it was pretty cool!
@ECSTuning -- yes there are a ton of Mini's around here. Fun to see them all!
Congrats to you new Mini owners! They are a blast to drive and are seen by all.
I have several Mini Coopers and I have been eyeing an 07 Mini S as a next buy.
I have an 05 Mini S with chrono package as my daily driver and love every minute that I am in it!

I'm in Sac but have driven around Palo Alto area a bit visiting relatives. Take your MINI out to Page Mill Rd in the foothills area, great twisty road. Just watch for bicyclists and people crossing the double yellows There's quite a few blind curves but it's very fun!
