New to the MINIMania

Hey everyone!!

I just bought my first Mini! In the couple weeks I've had it I must say I LOVE THIS CAR! It's a 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible. It needed a little work when I bought it, but I'm slowly getting everything fixed.

Anyways, just wanted to say HI!

Thanks! I wish I had joined earlier. I've actually ordered about $800 in parts from you guys over the last few weeks. The convertible top had some broken parts I ordered, I got the AUX cable from you and the chrome was broken off of the emergency brake. Next time I start to order some stuff I may PM you!

Will do thanks! So far it's been a lot of little things. I wet sanded and clear coated the headlights, done a brake job, replaced a seat belt that was broken, replaced a couple interior parts, added the AUX cable, darkened all the black trim, and replaced all the interior lights with LEDs. Not bad for only having it a couple weeks.

I can help you with all the R52 stuff and common fixes. Just near 264k miles on mine.

Nice! I'm only at 125k now. What oil do you use in yours? I've seen everything from 0w-40 to 5w-30.

A few things have changed since my last pic. New Black Grills, blacked out mirrors, 35% tint, and beltline Blackout (after this pic).

After adding new Continental DWS06 tires and getting it aligned, this car feels brand new! Next is sparkplugs... It's always something with the GoCart.

It's amazing what a new set of "shoes" does for handling and feel!
