Hello all.

As of about 5 minutes ago, I'm a new Mini owner. I've been a Jeep Wrangler person for the last few years, but I got tired of messing with the top. I was able to find a still NEW 2014 convertible with lots of options with a SIGNIFICANT discount on it. I've test driven others here in Houston, but I'm going to pick mine up on Friday in San Antonio.

I'm 35, originally from Louisiana, have a dog, a partner of 13 years, and an English Angora rabbit. I have entirely too many hobbies to list, but I enjoy a number of things.

I'm looking forward to the new Mini, and the new Mini Community.

Thanks! I lucked out. It's got the always open paxkage, sport package, Harmon Kardon sound, mirror caps, Xenon headlights, and the rooster red color line. I got it with a $6k discount too!

Congratz on the Mini...she's great! I have also been a long time Wrangler guy (5) every time I leave one I go to a little sports car ...and like you ..I love being able to hit the button and have the top go down in seconds. These cars are the most fun anyone can have with their clothes on.

My very first car was my grandfather's 1976 MG roadster and droving the mini is very reminiscent fir me.
