New Member - old car

Greeting fellow Mini friends, Just bought a 2006 Mini S. 6 speed with 91000.
Bought it in Atlanta and drove it home to Highlands NC. I had a 1961 Mini in high school (1966) for awhile. I was lucky, my family owned a Buick/American Motors/ British Motors Dealership in Maryland. I get to drive a lot of nice cars, but I always had a soft spot for the little 61. Fast forward a lifetime, and I once again have a constant smile when in the little guys replacement. Think I'll go over to the Dragon on Friday, and introduce myself to MANY Mini owners. Congrats! I wish I was closer to the Dragon. I rode it back in 2010 on my 2014 Kawasaki Concours 14. It would be so much fun in my MINI!

Welcome and congrats, too bad you dont have the 61' Mini also that would make a even better collection. Do you have a picture of the 61' and dont forget to post up pics of the 06' . The dragon is a great place and you can usually find some MINIs there most of the year.
