Hi! Potential Newbie Here
I've been an admirer of the Mini Cooper since they originally came out and now I'm finally getting around to hopefully purchasing one. Got really close to a deal on a 2012 Cooper Hardtop base, but things went a different way.
Figured I should begin scouring the threads here to learn as much as I can while I continue to search for a used Cooper in the Greater Nashville area. So much to learn about between different generations and different models.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and I hope to be a bonafide member with a Mini of my own very soon.

Took me searching for a while, but the perfect R53 showed up on Craigslist at just the right time! and just my $.02, but hunt down a MCS, not just a base, there is nothing like listening to forced induction whine 
Either way, you'll want to sleep in your new baby once you find her

Well, on Saturday I found a Mini that I just couldn't pass up. I ended up purchasing a 2009 Mini Cooper S Clubman in Pepper White!
Now I'm pouring through the threads to learn more about my new baby and just bought a Cravenspeed phone mount.
