Hi, Group
I bought our 03 MCS new, ordered before I saw the pre production model at the Chicago auto show. Because of the production problems it didn't get produced until 10/02. I worked for a dealer group that had a Mini store in Orlando, so we drove a one-way rental from Chicago, and picked our car up New Years Eve '02. It was a great break-in road trip, and still unusual enough that other drivers honked and gave us thumbs up all the way back home!
Now the car has 104k, a little worn but still loads of fun, we feel we got our money's worth!
I have been to some of the Takes the states events locally and two East meets West meets, I should have joined here years ago!
