Long Time No Post

I've been on here lurking around and gathering information for a few years now. I figured I should probably introduce myself and start sharing some of the things I've learned with the rest of the community.

My name is a takeaway from a duramax forum and reflects on how I like to keep my cars. stock.

Anyway here is my 08' MCS with JCW body/wheels, lounge interior, sport suspension, and most importantly, 6spd manual.

Nice MINI! And you have a Duramax as well? I have a Ford 6.0 in addition to my MINI...

Nice combo of vehicles. I still have the Duramax and here is a crapy pic of it, with another toy of mine:

Very nice, is that an FJ? Unlike you though none of my cars are stock haha. My Powerstroke has an intake, exhaust, fuel system, headstuds, egr delete, upgraded oil cooler, and custom tune.

Very cool. EGR delete and headstuds are almost mandatory on the 6.0 just like injectors on the Duramax. I like the crew cab Ford's, tons of room inside and out. Great looking MCS too by the way, grey was originally the color I was looking for.

As for modifying, I used to be really into it, but a mechanic/racecar driving friend of mine once told me, "a candle that burns twice as bright, burns half as long". That has kind of stuck with me so I gravitate towards suspension/handling upgrades, but tend to stay away from power mods.

Edit: Yep, that is an FJ40 slowly being restored to mostly stock form. ha!

When I bought my MINI I really wanted to keep it stock, but I just can't help myself! I went from saying "well maybe I'll just get an exhaust" to what it is now, catless dp, exhaust, custom tune, springs, sway bars, etc...

I really wish I a JCW body kit on my car, they look so good!
