Newb from South Central Pennsylvania!

Hello All,

New to this forum, but not new to car forums (I'll be sure to use the search box and Google before asking any questions).

I have had my '03 MINI Cooper S R53 for about 2 hours now.

I still have my '03 VW GTI 24v VR6 (it's for sale). After dumping $15k into it in the past 6 years, it is time to part ways. Don't get me wrong, I love my VR6, I teared up a little bit putting it on Craigslist, but it is time we part ways.

She's like that bad girlfriend that no matter how much money you spend on her she is never appreciative.

It has an electrical issue, so that was the last straw.

Anyway, I will most likely be silently lurking in the forums gathering knowledge , but I'll put in my 2 cents when I have something to share.

Regards,

MacManus

Funny tidbit, well, at least funny to me....

The wheels you see in the pic weren't on the car originally. On the lot it had the stock 17" silver crown spokes. I saw another MINI with these black ones and asked if they would swap them out. He was more than happy to thinking they were just some aftermarket wheels with the "JCW" centercaps. What do you know, they are actually the 18" JCW double spokes!
